Most of our competitors have centralised teams of installers who travel from a ‘headquarters’ to your property in order to install the Solar PV or Solar Thermal systems. We are different and have set up a nationwide network of MCS accredited installers who are local to you as well as our own teams which are based in the Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire areas.
Not only does this reduce the overall cost of each job due to less travel, but also reduces our overall carbon footprint. In addition, with our ‘no physical survey’ approach we also avoid creating another dose of CO2 emissions and strip out more cost, meaning a significantly lower price to you the customer.
We have also successfully built up knowledge & experience of less mainstream solutions such as SolarEdge and Enecsys: these may well be of interest if you have shading issues or limited space.
We’re also particularly proud of our slate roofing finish. We have installed on a number slate-roofed of properties in very close proximity to the sea where only an extremely robust, fully lead-flashed solution is appropriate. Please see images on our blog pages to understand how we make our fixings. We believe this is preferable to the current industry norm of installing using ‘hanger-bolts’. It is more time consuming our way, but we feel confident it will be a much more resilient solution over the full length of the PV array’s life.
