Sure there are plenty of reasons to hope the Lib Dems go one way or the other – but this certainly is not a party political blog! For microgeneration what would be best?
Climate Change and green issues have almost played no part in the election so far – very disappointing. It almost seems that Copenhagen and its stalemate has used up all our collective ‘greenie’ points for a while.
But who will protect the FIT and retain commitment to changing our energy mix in the face of budget constraint?
And whose policies will complement each other?
Well for me, the Lib Dems stance on nuclear would be a welcome balance to both Tories and Labour’s position. Perhaps the Lib Dems can just give either of the 2 main parties a bit of steel in maintaining their drive on green topics. Some silver lining perhaps?
